We achieve such both online and off by hosting online classes via our programs at Superhero Academy and WISDOM and help build self-reliant communities by promoting permaculture - off-grid eco-construction - alternative energy use and social entrepreneurship.

Our programs include not only in-person bootcamps and mentorships but also have tons of online classes available to truly help students shift their lifestyle and take on the world's biggest challenges.

A Truly Unique Learning Experience

I participated in 2016's Costa Rica Bootcamp as a supporting member of the team, after several months of working with Superhero Academy. What I experienced working hands on with the students in Costa Rica inspired me to believe that this an event which can truly get anyone out of their rut and rigid mindset and really help them move forward in their lives.

It was a ton of fun. We had plenty of time for everyone to eat exotic food, go on lengthy hikes, and see incredible waterfalls, sunsets, volcanoes, and panoramic views of the rainforest. And without compromising the fun, the student work was focused and effective, encouraging a lot of group participation, team-work, and hands on problem solving.

Do not attend this if you aren't looking to get your mind straight on the future, because the powerful energy of Costa Rica mixed with Marc Angelo's spirit will leave you craving to get to work on your life's passion.

Ultimate game changer!

The single biggest game changer, ever!

I'd never been a stranger to chasing hard after my goals - I'd been around the world, seen and done incredible things... But knew I had more to give, and wanted to be a part of something bigger... I had all these grand designs, but had no idea HOW I was going to execute... No slightest clue how to make it happen...

My mentorship experience rocked my world! An incredible experience in an amazing part of the world, as part of an amazing group of people tackling the worlds biggest problems - everything I'd been wanting.
It put the whole world in a new perspective and radically overhauled my mindset, and my approach to tackling problems, executing goals, and way more.

I went in with high expectations, but they were shattered. It was way more than I'd hoped for. The team are a bunch of genius, ultra badasses, who know their stuff inside and out.

Walk in with an open mind, and it WILL change your life!

Get on it!!

Game Changer

Before the Costa Rica Boot Camp in 2016, I had really shy'd away from social media, and using it to communicate my passion and projects. I also lacked a lot of clarity and focus. So many ideas, but where to start!

Over the course of the week, the team helped break down these barriers holding me back. My confidence and clarity was strengthened. This confidence I have kept with me since, and I use constantly to break down the doubts in pursuing my goals. I now use social media as a powerful tool in this pursuit.

During and since the Boot Camp, I have gained a lot of great friends and connections, both on and offline, which have accompanied me on my journey.
I recommend the guidance and mentorship of Superhero Academy. There is a way here which helps you achieve what YOU want to do. Not telling you what to do, but rather helping you realise your vision and giving the tools to put this idea into action.
Thankyou to the amazing people I met on Carara mountain and the continued support of Superhero Academy.

What would you improve about this program?
These programs will get better and better. I felt some more one on one time with the Teachers would have been beneficial. But from what I understand, the programs which have followed have included more of this

The future of education is here (:

This was definitely a game changing event in my life. I wasn't exactly clear with the direction I was going in when I arrived at the mentorship. By time the month had completed though I got a lot of good exposure to the different career paths within the world of sustainability and I'm now pursing exactly what I've been looking for. The networking and friends you making during a mentorship is also incredibly valuable!

What would you improve about this program?
More specialized training but this will come with time from trial and error

An Amazing Learning Experience in the Heart of Montreal's Old Port

In May 2016 I joined Super Hero Academy along with 5 other mentees on a journey into the depths of social entrepreneurship.

I learned invaluable skills about how to use social media and search engines to my advantage and how to write incredible online content.

We learned how to make outstanding promotional videos as well as get our hands dirty on Valhalla. I have a new respect for our earth and where our food comes from thanks to my stay.

One of my favorite aspects of the mentorship was how much I got to learn about myself. I got to pin point and remove psychological blocks, to move ahead boldly in the direction of my highest self.

We also had a lot of fun! there where multiple party's in our massive loft in the heart of downtown Montreal. Not to mention fresh food delivered from local farms.

I am 100% going to be engaging with Superhero Academy's mentor ships in the future.

What would you improve about this program?
Next time I would love to see more of a focus on the customer discovery process and opportunity identification.

Why did you choose this program?

I chose this program because I had been following this group of individuals (Valhalla Movement) online for 4 years and jumped at the opportunity to come and work with them. With the focus on social entrepreneurship, I knew they could help me achieve financial freedom while creating a more sustainable world.

What did your program provider (or university) assist you with, and what did you have to organize on your own?

Besides travel back and forth, this program provided all of my living needs and more. We stayed in an incredible apartment, ate amazing food, and explored the surrounding area frequently.

What is one piece of advice you'd give to someone going on your program?

Make the most of your time when doing this program. If you invest money into something, be prepared to work and achieve your goals. This program improved my network (dramatically), kept me accountable to my goals, and taught me some incredibly valuable skills.

You still need to push yourself to learn from these people and put it into action. It is up to you to make the most of your time, as is true with anything in life.

What does an average day/week look like as a participant of this program?

We would often wake up to yoga and breakfast. By this time we would start working on individual projects, learn more about sustainability, or explore the surrounding area. It was a great mixture of education, entertainment, and improving our own personal journey.

Going into your experience abroad, what was your biggest fear, and how did you overcome it? How did your views on the issue change?

My fear was in the idea of not getting my money's worth. It is an investment to do a program like this but you have to take risks to get rewards.

The accommodations alone were worth what I spent, let alone the fact that I learned so much and currently make my income from the connections and steps I took while there.

My recommendation is to follow your gut and take those risks. I did, and I would do it again if I had to.

Who is best suited for this program?

This program is for anyone who wants to make a "career" or life out of bettering the world (social entrepreneurship). This group specializes in permaculture, sustainability, and social business but they also are connected to organizations around the world and will put you in touch with those that will most benefit you. The network connections alone is worth so much.

What is your favorite travel memory?

Honestly for me the first time we hosted a mentorship and saw the Costa Rican sunset will stick with me for life... It was a dream to be surrounded by such amazing people and also be in one of the most beautiful places on the planet.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

Mentorships are truly the most exciting and powerful work I've ever done. They push me to grow and change along with the apprentices and really dissect a lot of what I can offer into something, empowering and actionable.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

No joke the best stories are all about the crazy journeys they embark on after committing to their new lifestyle. It just seems that when people dive off the cliff of their fears and into their freedom the universe meets them halfway and finds ways to open doors...

I think I'm constantly amazed at how small hinges continue to open large doors...

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

Costa Rica / Montreal Mentorships are truly something...

Costa Rica because of its a beautiful winter retreat - the beaches, views, activities, and setting - is ideal for adopting a much more aligned and intentional lifestyle and empowering yourself with the knowledge needed.

Montreal is special because it's the birth place of the Valhalla Movement and the integration of working on our own tasks. Being part of the community on the permaculture farm on Saturdays really ties it all together.

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

From what I know we are the only school for every day superheroes operating world wide and doing so while teaching people about topics often overlooked in the business world.

So many schools don't allow people to truly dive into the experience that it takes to learn something and well Superhero Academy not only gives the knowledge via online classes but takes it to another level by pulling people out of their homes and habits and throwing them down a hero's journey into the magic of the unknown.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

Caring about people.
