Why choose Youth Employment and Society Development?

YESD works with youth in the field of Education and Tourism. Our mission is to reduce unemployment rate among graduates, preserve the traditions of Vietnam and save the environment.

At the moment we are developing 3 main projects:

1. Career targeted for disadvantaged youth. We train them in English and tourism skills with focus in practice. After our training, they can stay to work with our organization in tourism sector or we connect with other travel agencies so that they can be guaranteed to have a job
2. Responsible tourism. We support the local to develop tourism in their place by providing training in tourism service: develop homestay, food supplying, herbal bath, tour guide, management skills and so on
3. Volunteering for Community Development. Volunteers can stay with the locals to enjoy culture, traditions and explore the most unique features of the local places. They provide English lessons for the children in the remote areas, work on the farm and other daily tasks

Summer trip in Ha Giang from $350

Hanoi to Ha Giang

YESD gave us the secret advise to go to Ha Giang. The most beautiful Reagion in North Vietnam. YESD welcomed us in there office and checked all our wishes to the trip and supportet us the best. We wanted to suppourt the local comminity and we wanted to be two traveler and not just somebody to bring just money. and in ha giang that happend. The local poeple welcomed us so nice an warmly. we met a lot of local poeple and got really insight to vietnam. the road was not easy to drive but our drivers were really safty drivers. on happy road you really feel the happiness coming in your heard. it is a beautiful landschape in the montains and the laugh of the poeple is the most beautiful i have ever seen.
english is not so common in this area, but everybody is helping and i felt safe.
So please go with yesd, because they care.

What would you improve about this program?
i thing the english of the guides has to be better. And they should have a look, that the guides telling more details of the locals and life. this makes a trip more interessting. I think they schould contact with others to help the region more.
