Hi Tyler, All our projects have a $500 registration fee and you are responsible for arranging and paying for your own transportation. The transportation is a huge variable, depending on where you are flying from and how savvy you are at finding reasonable flights. In addition there is an extra fee of around $250 that you pay to the partner organization in Iceland when you arrive. This is to help...
Great question! Most of the projects are 2 weeks long and you have to participate for the full program. Since your largest expense is probably your ticket you might want to stay a few more days to travel around the country but that really depends on where your project took place. Our partner SEEDS organizes tours for the volunteers. About 30% of volunteers will do 2 projects (about 4 weeks total)...
