I recommend AIP because for me it was the perfect combination of professional Spanish classes, organization and a really nice and familiar setting. AIP also offers to participate in excursions, which is great for people who are new to Valencia. I lived in a shared flat with other students of AIP and I can also recommend this option - the flat was very near to the school (which is located centrally in a nice area).

The dynamic in class helped me improve my linguistic abilities but it also helped me loose my fear of speaking in Spanish in front of other people.

The AIP Spanish school gave me the opportunity to learn Spanish fluently and more than correctly. In addition, the atmosphere is great! The school travel agency is my favorite part of the school! The organizer is always friendly and open, and she offers three free activities every week and an excursion every weekend which normally, thanks to the offers she manages to obtain, costs between only 15 and 20 €!

L'école d'espagnol AIP m'a donné l'opportunité d'apprendre l'espagnol de manière fluide et plus que correcte. En plus, l'ambiance est géniale! Les professeurs et le staff nous aident chaque jour à nous améliorer, et peu à peu, ma capacité à converser s'est largement améliorée. Aujourd'hui, je parle l'espagnol de façon fluide grâce à eux.

L'agence de voyage de l'école est ma partie préférée de l'école! I arrived at AIP last summer and I had the greatest academic experience of my whole life. Really. Most of my teachers eventually became someone friendly, extremely positive and supportive. Thanks AIP Staff for your kindness, attention and professionality. I'll be back soon, that's for sure! From day one I felt really confortable. Also, the activities after our lessons were so funny and atractive! If you wish to learn Spanish in a funny and effective way you should come to AIP Language Institute.

I am not a person who leaves comments, but I had to do it in this case. In the past, I had taken Spanish classes in high school, but I could never speak fluently since all my teachers were Portuguese and really did not speak the language and I was not a very good student either. So when I got into the experience, I was a little worried and I didn't think I would be able to communicate fluently. The biggest problem was that Portuguese and Spanish are very similar and I was always mixing them. Now I can communicate without making that mistake and this was due to the consistent AIP methodology. I also took advantage of tutoring lessons and all school activities. The friendships I made in class helped me to be a better person.

No soy una persona que deja comentarios, pero tuve que hacerlo en este caso. En el pasado, había tomado clases de español en la escuela secundaria, pero nunca pude hablar con fluidez ya que todos mis maestros eran portugueses y realmente no hablaban el idioma y tampoco era muy buen estudiante. Entonces, al entrar en la experiencia, estaba un poco preocupado y no pensé que sería capaz de comunicarme con fluidez. El mayor problema era que el portugués y el español son muy similares y siempre los estaba mezclando. Ahora puedo comunicarme sin cometer ese error y esto se debió a la metodología consistente de AIP. También aproveché las lecciones de tutoría y todas las actividades de la escuela. Las amistades que hice en clase me ayudaron a ser mejor persona.

I'm not a person that writes reviews online, but I really thought it was worth doing for this school. I had low expectations coming into this experience and was very worried I might not be able to learn the language since I had taken Spanish classes in high school and failed.

Classes are fun and interactive, but if you don't do your homework you won't magically pass. With the activities, I went to the events during the week but didn't go to a lot of the weekend excursions because I was travelling a lot.

Long story short, I learned Spanish and made amazing friends.

Since I was little I wanted to be able to speak better Spanish because my family is from the Dominican Republic. But since I grew up in New York I could not practice it with anyone other than my Grandma. I was in Valencia for a semester doing Spanish and an internship. Thanks to that experience I feel more Latin and much more Hispanic.

Gracias a AIP he podido mejorar mi dominio del idioma. I really enjoyed my time spent in the city and with the friends I was able to make.

I am very hyperactive and was able to concentrate in class since the topics chosen and interactive games had me involved.

The best part of the day were the breaks because we could see our friends and have coffee. oh! and every Monday they have a breakfast for us student and is so good. Only bad thing is that you can't eat in the classrooms, but I understands. My little sister was in the school too in the summer camp and this was great for my parents to relax.

AIP gave me the ability to express my feelings fluently in Spanish. Before I felt very self-conscious with my conversation skills but that extra umphh given by the teachers and staff really helped.

My favorite part were the activities offered by the AIP Travel Agency... three weekly activities are always free and weekend excursions normally have a set fee since they take us and the is always a staff member helping us out (not expensive, around 15-20€)

The time I spent in Valencia helped me discover new friends but the best part is that now I can teach Spanish in Sweden!!! Gracias, Cristina!!!!!

If you want a full language immersion this is the place for you. Plus, none of those cliché activities that other schools have. The teachers are young and make classes interactive with all those smartboards.

On the first day of class, we had a quick orientation and afterward, they had a nice breakfast for all the newcomers which I didn't expect and highly appreciated. We also had free tutoring every Tuesday and Thursday after class... this helped me a lot since I could practice those grammar aspects that I didn't really dominate. The course is divided into comprehension, grammar, and conversation. We had different teachers for conversation and this made the class interaction better.

Spain is a beautiful country with endless opportunities. The people are nice and quiet welcoming and the school was very helpful in my process to learn the Spanish language. I am beyond grateful for the endless opportunities this experience granted me. I got to see cities and countries I had never dreamed possible. I spent spring break traveling through many major cities in Italy such as Venice, Florence, Rome, and ended on the beyond beautiful Amalfi Coast ( my new favorite place). The school is quiet small, unorganized and at times the staff can get frustrating with the lack of knowledge on specific questions you might have, so if you're looking for a big University this definitely is not the place. Don't feel deceived though, the experience is what you make of it. The city is beautiful and there's always something to do. Whether you love museum's, the beach or dancing the night away in some of the best clubs you'll find it all in Valencia and if you're lucky enough to be here in March you'll get to experience the famous 'Las Fallas' festival which is like nothing I have experienced before (Google it for more information because it is nearly impossible to describe). Due to Valencia's great location it's possible to travel basically anywhere in Europe by plane in just about 2 hours and believe it or not the flights are pretty cheap as long as you do your research. Some other beautiful places I would highly recommend visiting are Edinburgh, Scotland. This was my first solo trip and although the idea of traveling alone seemed scary it was one of my best choices while abroad. The city is historic, beautiful and home-feeling. I went on a bar crawl alone and to be honest had the best time. Moral of the story don't be afraid to come outside of your comfort zone while abroad the world is your playground. Another MUST is Morocco, and I mean must with the upmost emphasis. Never in a million years did I think I would have the opportunity to ride a camel into the sunset on the Sahara Desert. Beware though because the camels are not a comfy as you'd think but back to my point you must do this! I've never seen more stars or interacted with so many different cultures in my life, it's quiet the humbling experience. While abroad I recommend going into the experience with an open mind. Every country is different with different types of people and cultures it's important you try new things and are accepting of the differences you will encounter. Believe it or not, not everywhere is like the USA and it's important you understand this. Don't let the differences scare you, embrace every opportunity you have and the experience will be beyond rewarding. I have left this program with a much more accepting, open mind. I have a hunger and wonder to see more and travel more then ever before, I want to see it all. I now encourage everyone to study abroad it is an experience like no other and is for sure a great opportunity to mature and grow as an individual.
