Cape Sounion is the Temple of Poseidon. It is an ancient ruin with tall columns. It lies on top of a large cliff right on the water.
Crete, Greece is one of the most beautiful islands. One of the most recognized places on the island is Chania, where there is a long pier along the ocean with small shops and restaurants. You can also see the snow covered mountains in the distance showing the diversity of the country.
The most historic site in Athens is the Parthenon, arguably the most famous Acropolis in the world. It sits on the top of a rocky hill in the center of Athens.

This is a photo of the most popular temple in Chiang Mai, called Wat Doi Suthep. It can only be reached by a somewhat frightening ride up the mountain, but the trip is well worth it.
