On the last week of our trip, we travelled south to the Puntenaras province on the pacific coast, and surfed on Playa Uvita. The waves were great an unlike msot American beaches I am familiar with, the beach was almost empty. Between the water and the beach lined with coconut trees, this may have been the most visually stunning part of the trip for me!
A group of us hiked around the beautiful and very mountainous town of Cedral. Since Cedral is in the foothills of Costa Rica's tallest mountain, clouds and fog often roll in and shroud the hills from view.
This was a picture from the last hike we took in the cloud forest of the Poco Sol Biological Station. We hiked up to this gorgeous waterfall where we relaxed and enjoyed the beauty of the cloud forest.
