Thank you for your all amazing, unforgettable lectures and feedback and thank you for being so supportive! I really enjoyed every minute of the course. I already recommended it to my friends. Before starting the course, I thought, a thousand times , should I join or not, because it is not cheap. Now I am here and I will never regret that I took the course. I learnt a lot which I never knew before. Hopefully, the stuff I learned here will help me with my future job. Even if I go back to my home country, I am sure I will get a job easily and I will teach effectively.

The contents of the classes and practicums in TEFL International Tokyo were beyond my expectations! It's definitely worth taking it to start your career in teaching English. We had very professional, helpful, and cheerful teachers who taught us each topic deeply and practically. Even if there were other schools teaching the same contents, it would not be as enjoyable as this experience without the teachers I met here. Although there were tough times for me to complete assignments, as I am not a native English speaker, the classroom atmosphere was very comfortable, and the teachers were always open to any small questions. Instead of feeling nervous and stressed throughout the course, I felt relaxed and comfortable. The teachers kindly corrected my mistakes and helped me to improve my English. I highly recommend this course for anyone who are enthusiastic and curious about teaching English!

I started this course expecting to just learn how to teach English, but ended up with so much more. This course opened my mind to how people acquire language, and even to the beauty of the history of teaching methods and how we can apply them today. The TEFL International Tokyo staff are very kind and friendly, and everyone made me feel relaxed and eager to learn more. They made me feel more comfortable with teaching kids and adults, while providing lots of advice and helpful feedback on our workshop activities as well.
As to the English teaching, lots of techniques were provided for us as well as experiences on putting them to use. The assignments were quite challenging, yet very useful for our future in this career path.
It was a very good experience. I highly recommend this intensive course, especially to language lovers!

One of the reason why I wanted to take this course is to get all the necessary knowledge to start building a career in the field of education, and get the idea of how to become a good and effective teacher. Thanks to the knowledgeable and supportive team of TEFL International Tokyo, great teaching materials and practicum I was able to apply teaching principle I learned during this course in my own classroom. I learned how to make my lessons more effective, how to teach with ease, confidence and professionalism.
One more reason I took this course is to obtain the TEFL certificate, which will give me more opportunities to find a better job in Japan or in any other country in the world.
To me this intensive one month course was experience which was worthwhile my time, effort and money.
Highly recommend to those who are looking to obtain not only TEFL certificate but all the essentials for becoming a good and effective language teacher.

This school checks every box. It is fun and informative and incredibly helpful for anyone that is thinking about or planning to teach English as a second language. The instructors are kind and helpful every step of the way. If you need housing help or resume help or interview practice, they are available to help. They also will assist and encourage you to get involved in other activities in the area. The classroom environment is super positive and perfect for making friends.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time in this course. Laurence and David are fantastic instructors, and they covered a variety of topics in creative and memorable ways. They included many different techniques and made sure to include the unique aspects of teaching Japanese learners. The program had plenty of practical experience with both children and adult learners, too! The instructors gave really good advice for getting a job as a teacher as well. The tips for starting as an independent teacher were especially enlightening! Laurence and David both have unique and memorable stories about teaching that they were happy to share with us. I highly recommend this course.

Even though I am a native English speaker, learning how to teach English was a challenge for me. The skills I learned here gave me a great start in my new career... 3 years on and I haven't looked back. Thank you again. Learning the "basics" that just aren't taught in Australian schools was an incredible experience... not only did i learn about my own language, but I learned how to teach it to others. This has opened up opportunities for further study and a career change for me that means, not only do I enjoy a better work life balance, but i now enjoy a higher pay rate than i did before.

An amazing program with an established teaching school, engaging teachers, and excited students. The program does a great job of integrating you into their already well organized english school. They were very accommodating and exceeded all my expectations. As a current high school teacher I still look back at the many important lessons and skills I learned through the TEFL program. I must add the food is amazing and the culture is so unique and beautiful. A great opportunity to travel, learn skills, and make an positive impact on young lives.
