All of our food was so good and fresh! I loved how they took the time to make it special for us.

As part of the Australian Veterinary Service program we got put into groups that learned about a specific animal or species, as well as worked on enrichment for them. My group had the opportunity to work with the Dingoes and they are fascinating creatures, it was super fun to work with them.
I loved getting to know the two koalas in the Wildlife Park. They did sleep a lot, but when they were awake they had big personalities.
We were given the opportunity to go with the elephant vet who showed us hands on procedures.
We got to participate in a diet study where we were assigned an elephant who we got to follow around, feed, and collect fecal and urine samples from.
Loop gave me the opportunity to make new friends, human and elephant!
This is a kangaroo and her joey.  They can be seen wandering all over Walkabout.
There are lots of pretty trails to explore at Walkabout and this one lead us to one of the many spots to watch a sunset, which are beautiful here!
I was learning all about Koala Bears and the behavior of this one named, Gumnut.
