My 1-month internship in Vietnam was very good. There are three main aspect that I would like to highlight:
1. If I had never left my home country, I wouldn’t have known how fascinating it can be to work abroad. It is great to put your skills into practice while being surrounded by a huge amount of new impressions. By the time my internship ended, I felt confident to return home to finish my Bachelor’s because I realised that I can succeed in the business world - just like Vietnam had shown me.
2. The food is incredible. I could go on and on about it for hours, but my description would not sufficiently reflect reality. Just go to Vietnam and try it yourself.
3. I met many interesting people and I hope to stay in touch with them. It was nice to have a local guide on my first day who explained all of Vietnam’s must-knows to me. Without him I might have been a bit lost. The Meiji staff was also great, always willing to help.
In summary: Great job, great food, great people. Vietnam’s awesome!
