Experience of a lifetime

I was one of the first VESL volunteers in India and truly had one of the most amazing experiences of my life. VESL really made me feel like a member of their team and not just another volunteer and got to know me personally. I taught English to children aged 4-16 for 12 weeks and lived on the orphanage site. I felt totally absorbed into the local way of life and saw India in a way no tourist or traveller could.
