I think my biggest highlight was the relationships I made with the group of volunteers I was with. Even though we were all very different, from different places, had different interests, etc, we still all got on really well and had such a great time together. Another highlight was just the fact I was able to spend a month in a country I never really had any desire to travel to but I will definitely go there again sometime. I also really loved the fact that this programme included a cultural tour part. At first I didn't think it was something I would have cared for but after 3 weeks of intense teaching, it was nice to just hang out with everyone in a very chilled environment. Lastly. I would say the relationship with the directors. Although they were technically our 'bosses', we were all still able to speak to them almost like a friend and they really got to know as well. Times when we weren't teaching, they would just hang out with us and get to know us more as regular people.
