TESOL course and tutor (168-hour Hybrid TEFL Certificate program)

I am a person who has a passion for teaching. I truly enjoy my work. As an educator, over the years a deep desire grew in my heart to update and equip myself in teaching English as a language both onsite and online. In my focus to fulfil my desire, I knew that I had to prepare myself with adequate knowledge and effective skills to teach in the most efficient manner.

I had a wonderful and unique learning experience with the course as it was the first time that I had ever had the privilege to learn from a native English speaker. During the Live online workshops, I also had the pleasure to interact with learners as myself who were from different parts of the world.

My experience in this journey of learning via Ontesol has been enriching and enlightening. The program also helped me to learn more on interesting and engaging activities that could make the teaching-learning process fun-filled and fruitful. I did have times when I found some of the assignments quite challenging, however, with the help of such wonderful tutors I could overcome it and became more knowledgeable. The tutors always helped to clarify confusions and questions that I had which really helped me to succeed in my assignments. The four Live workshops that we had in the course were also fun-filled and informative where aspirant teachers from different parts the world could come together and learn in an enjoyable manner. The Live workshops were so interesting that I wish we could have more of the workshops and not just four. It was great not only to learn about the content but also to acquire knowledge from the teaching experiences of the tutors. The knowledge that they shared about their own teaching experiences of what to be prepared for in a class and how to handle learning situations in an appropriate manner were truly wise words to learn from.
