Football club internship

Dubai isn't as well-known as Saudi Arabia in terms of sports yet, but this is starting to change and was what prompted my application. Interning at a UAE league soccer (football) club gave me a totally different perspective of sports in a different culture, and how professional sports work. I learned so much, from different conditioning and training methods (ocean swims!), to how psychology is used even with the youth squads to develop players. Loved the experience and spending time in the city. Super modern place, and so much to do. Lots of fun, got to enjoy and play lots of ball, beach volleyball, and pickleball in my downtime, and met some great people.
