An unforgettable experience

Coming to Grenoble was a huge step outside of my comfort zone that soon turned into one of the biggest growth periods I've had this far in my life. The Grenobloise community is welcoming and kind, as they are understanding of the large international student population in the city and will guide you on your French. The Université Grenoble Alpes is a beautiful campus surrounded by the mountains-- I had the opportunity to join their UGlisse ski club and go skiing in the Alpes a couple of times before I left. Being surrounded by the mountains, you have so many options for hiking, rafting, biking, and other outdoor activities in the palm of your hand. Even though Grenoble is a little bit of a ways away from an airport, the public transportation systems are very efficient for intercontinental travel. Overall, there is nothing bad I could say about my time in Grenoble. I had so much fun and think about it every day.
