A Life-Changing Journey: My Experience with GoAbroadChina's Cultural Immersion Program

When I joined GoAbroadChina’s High School Language & Cultural Immersion Program, I didn’t know what to expect. At first, learning Mandarin felt challenging, but the teachers and locals were so kind and patient. I stayed with a host family, and they treated me like one of their own, showing me their traditions and way of life. One of my favorite experiences was learning calligraphy—it taught me patience and focus. I also joined a tea ceremony, where I saw how much respect the Chinese people have for their culture. Throughout the program, I learned not just a language but also important values like discipline and respect. This experience changed me, and I now admire the Chinese culture and people even more.
