High Language to Remember

As a high school student, going to China with GoAbroadChina was my first time abroad. I was nervous at first, but I quickly made friends and felt at home. We studied Chinese in the mornings and did cultural activities in the afternoons. I learned how to write Chinese characters and even tried calligraphy! The program took us to famous places like the Great Wall and the Forbidden City. I stayed with a host family who showed me their way of life. They were warm and always ready to teach me new things. I came back more confident and open-minded. My Chinese speaking improved so much in just a few weeks. It was the perfect mix of learning and fun.
