My Summer in China Was the Coolest Thing I’ve Ever Done!

As a high school student, I never imagined learning Chinese could be so fun! The classes were made for teens like me—not boring at all—and the teachers made learning feel like an adventure. We visited ancient sites, joined local festivals, and even stayed with a Chinese family who treated me like one of their own. I got to practice Chinese every day and picked up so much without even realizing it. Plus, I made friends from all over the world. It was the best mix of culture, travel, and language learning. I’d go again in a heartbeat!
