It Was a Life-Changer

Before this program, I had never traveled alone or studied a new language seriously. But GAC’s teen immersion experience totally changed that. The Chinese lessons were fun and interactive — not just memorizing stuff, but actually speaking with locals and using what we learned during trips and daily life.

We made dumplings, learned Tai Chi, visited amazing sites like the Great Wall, and even tried Chinese calligraphy. I met other high school students from different countries, and we bonded so quickly. It wasn’t just school — it was a full-on cultural adventure.
