Chinese Language & Cultural Immersion

As a high school student, joining the Chinese Language & Cultural Immersion Program was unforgettable. I had never been so far from home, but the GAC team made everything feel safe and exciting from the very beginning.

The language classes were fun and interactive—nothing like regular school! We learned Chinese in the mornings and spent our afternoons visiting local schools, historic sites, and doing cool cultural activities like martial arts and calligraphy. Living with a Chinese host family made the experience even more authentic. I practiced speaking Chinese every day and learned so much about daily life in China.

I made friends from different countries, gained confidence in myself, and returned home with memories I’ll keep forever. Highly recommended for any teen looking for something meaningful and adventurous.
