A Life-Changing Semester in China

Spending a semester of high school in China with Go Abroad China was an experience I’ll never forget. I was placed at a local school in Beijing, attended classes with Chinese students, and lived with a warm, welcoming host family. My Mandarin improved quickly through daily practice, and I gained a deep appreciation for Chinese culture, from traditional festivals to school customs. The support from GAC staff made everything smooth and safe. This program helped me become more independent and confident, and it changed how I view the world.
