A High School Experience I’ll Never Forget

As a high school student joining GAC’s China program, I was both excited and nervous. But within days, I felt at home. I joined a local high school in Shanghai and lived with a host family. The school environment was welcoming, the teachers were helpful, and I made friends fast. I improved my Chinese, adapted to a new education system, and developed a sense of independence.
