South India: The Hidden Gem!
Ratings
Review
Many students only know North India and North Indian Cuisine. But India is full of hundreds of languages and cultures, religions and mindsets all sharing the same space! The more I learned about India and its history, the more I understood myself and my future. This is a truly unique program because it's affordable (meals for under 2 United states dollars), full of opportunity (in six weeks, we went Kayaking, saw UNESCO sites, wore traditional dress, and tried 8 variations of mangoes!) and is challenging but rewarding. This is the classic study abroad experience that a lot of students look for, because everything is opposite from regular life, but you have so much support both from the on-site staff and from the local community who want you to learn and enjoy Indian culture.
