Perugia Umbra Institute

My experience at the Umbra Institute was very good the staff was extremely supportive in adjusting us to the country in ways such as hosting pizza nights and directly picking us up from the airport. And the academic was hands on and very interesting. During my capstone trip I was able to gain so much knowledge about Italian farming that I would not be able to experience here. We visited a small scale cow farm and learned about the process in making the famous Italian Parmesan cheese from specific cows in the area of Parma. Learning this processed fully immersed me in the culture.
