My Au Pair Adventure in China

My China au pair experience was a transformative journey. Arriving in Dalian, I was welcomed by my host family with warmth that eased my initial nerves. Teaching English through games and stories brought me joy, especially seeing the children grow more confident.

During the Spring Festival, I learned traditions like pasting couplets and writing "福" (Fu), experiencing the deep family bonds. Cooking together—Spanish paella and Chinese dumplings—became a delicious cultural exchange.

This program taught me adaptability and the power of open-mindedness. I’ll always cherish my time in China and carry these lessons forward.
