Volunteering as a senior in Costa Rica

Volunteering as an English teacher with Costa Ricans and immigrants to Costa Rica re-filled my heart and soul. I met kind, generous people who welcomed me into their homes, their church, and their lives. The volunteers from around the world shared a love of adventure and a desire to give back. It was a transformational (and fun!) experience that opened a door to a different way of travel.

I taught in the mornings for three weeks and still had plenty of time to enjoy the adventure of being in Costa Rica.
