A study tour at the start of the program enables participants to visit important historical and cultural sites in the region and to meet officials and activists in the region. Our tour goes from Albania, to Montenegro, Croatia (Dubrovnik), and Bosnia and Herzegovina (Sarajevo and Srebrenica).

About Program

The Frederick C. Cuny Peace and Conflict Summer Program at RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) is an accredited international leadership seminar in peace-building and conflict resolution. Honoring Frederick C. Cuny, a trailblazing humanitarian and disaster relief expert, the program combines rigorous academic coursework with experiential learning in Kosovo and the Balkans. Participants explore themes such as peacekeeping, state-building, genocide, transitional justice, and political violence, guided by renowned practitioners and academics.

This program features a dynamic study tour across the region, interactive workshops, and mentorship by senior officials and peace-building experts. With Kosovo as a living laboratory for post-conflict reconstruction and reconciliation, the program offers unparalleled professional exposure, intellectual engagement, and practical insights, now complemented by an Advanced Graduate Certificate accredited by New York State.
