About Program
The Frederick C. Cuny Peace and Conflict Summer Program at RIT Kosovo (A.U.K) is an accredited international leadership seminar in peace-building and conflict resolution. Honoring Frederick C. Cuny, a trailblazing humanitarian and disaster relief expert, the program combines rigorous academic coursework with experiential learning in Kosovo and the Balkans. Participants explore themes such as peacekeeping, state-building, genocide, transitional justice, and political violence, guided by renowned practitioners and academics.
This program features a dynamic study tour across the region, interactive workshops, and mentorship by senior officials and peace-building experts. With Kosovo as a living laboratory for post-conflict reconstruction and reconciliation, the program offers unparalleled professional exposure, intellectual engagement, and practical insights, now complemented by an Advanced Graduate Certificate accredited by New York State.
