Texas A&M University Study Abroad in South Africa

Texas A&M University invites its students to travel to South Africa and Botswana next summer on the faculty led Southern Africa Nature Tourism program. The program combines biodiversity and nature based tourism in various regions of southern Africa from the southern coast and northern savannas of South Africa, to the Okavango Delta of Botswana to the world renowned Victoria Falls, located between Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Students will learn of the biodiversity, culture, history, and people of Southern Africa. The focus will also include a deeper look into the interaction between the human and ecological aspects of biodiversity conservation and nature-based tourism in Africa.
