Preschool/Kindergarten Bilingual Program

Centro Educacional Leonardo da Vinci is a private school located in Vitoria, Espirito Santo, a mid-sized coastal city a few hours north of Rio de Janeiro. Following in a strong tradition of excellence in foreign language education, it offers a bilingual preschool/kindergarten program which was inaugurated in February 2006. The salary will be based on institution's salary scale, highly competitive in the Brazilian market, right now 3,600 reais (Brazilian currency). Review of applications begins immediately and will continue until the position is filled.

The teacher will work with an aide from 7:15a.m. to 5:15p.m., from Monday to Thursday, with 2 different groups (alternating) of up to 22 children each (3 to 6 years old). On Fridays there is a different schedule: in the morning the teacher works with the preschool children and in the afternoon works with second or third graders in an immersion program.
