British Council - Teach English in Egypt

Video and Photos

The British Council first opened in Egypt in 1938, one of the first locations abroad. Today there are 4 centers across Egypt. We offer a range of courses and opportunities: English language classes, Projects in the arts and education, and a recognized center for UK testing. Every course is designed for students to adapt the skills in their everyday lives, thanks to our current teaching materials and experienced instructors.

Teachers at British Council will become part of a wider network of international educators, participating in cultural exchange. Each school boasts a supportive staff, eager to think critically and creatively to make an impact on their students' lives.

British Council also offers a 4-week CELTA course in Egypt. With small class sizes, the BC course offers more bang for your buck (compared to similar courses in the region); the fee for courses running in 2014 is LE 14,600.
