Volunteer in Costa Rica with South America Inside! South America inside offers a variety of volunteer opportunities in beautiful Costa Rica.

On the wildlife data collection project volunteers will be investigating the rainforest of Costa Rica, collecting data for a biological data base for the Rainforest Center. On this project, participants will learn the aspects of the rainforest's ecosystem while developing and implementing a Geographic Information System that will benefit continued conservation studies in the area.

Participants in the wildlife conservation project will work full-time as a volunteer in one of Costa Rica's many beautiful and diverse National Parks. Duties range from maintaining the park facilities to putting on outreach activities with the local community.

On the Nicoya Peninsula, South America Inside also offers an opportunity to work with sea turtle conservation. Learn more about these majestic animals and help efforts to save them from extinction.
