Price Details

Generally we only ask Volunteers to cover food and energy expenses which is currently US$200 per month. Volunteers that can assist us with our specialty needs will be fully subsidized through out their stay.

About Program

Green New World offers two positions in the main Volunteer Program which provides exposure to sustainable food production. Volunteers are engaged with different permaculture, bio-intensive and organic food growing systems, maintaining the food forest and helping with wholesome vegetarian meal preparation for the school. You will experience a zero waste ecological lifestyle during your stay with lots of things to learn. We ask for a one month minimum commitment. Preference is given to candidates who are able to commit to longer periods.

We offer special opportunities for volunteers that can help us with the following skills following fields:
- Internship coordinator (Nov - May) 3 months minimum
- Farm manager (6 months minimum)
- Carpenter
- Web designer HTML, CSS and SEO
- Video/ animation producer
- Fundraiser (crowd funding)
