About Program
This will be the first mental health placement or program we run outside of Asia, and it has been designed to provide participants with unparalleled, greater insight into mental health treatment in Europe; an area geographically and culturally closer to the vast majority of our volunteers’ backgrounds. The program will focus specifically on post-conflict psychology, and some modalities involved in this treatment.
You will get the chance to experience the program in its early stages, absorbing all the knowledge from seminars, workshops and visits that you will take part in. In return, we look forward to your feedback so we can continue to evolve the program.
The program, which runs for 10 days, begins with a weekend in fun, bustling Budapest, continuing on to historical Zagreb and ending in the idyllic Croatian coastal city of Sibenik. In this short time, you will learn about Post-Conflict Psychology, Peace Psychology, PTSD, Positive psychology, Movement Therapy and Meditation.
