About Program

The vision to build the biggest recycling village in the world is becoming reality: in Sumatra, Indonesia public buildings are being constructed and built out of a total of 250 tons of plastic garbage, so-called eco-bricks. That is why we need you!

You are able to help us out in 4 different divisions, depending on your skills and preferences:
1. Recycling Village: Depending on where help is needed, you can, for example, participate in the construction of buildings.
2. Green-Education: Unfortunately, education in Indonesia is not free. For this reason, a few courses are held weekly, in which mainly children and young people are taught the English language in an environmental context.
3. Waste Management: Due to the big amout of waste, we need a smart system to re- and upcycle (organic) waste at the trashbank to also build ecobricks out of it.
4. Permaculture:You can help out in organic farming, medical plant garden, tree nursery, Ernas compost house or in the jungle in Simolap.
