Government-run clinics are ill equipped to handle the volume of people in need of care. Addressing the health care needs in rural villages is vital to improving the living conditions of these community members. As one of the medical volunteers on the team, your goal is to enhance your medical knowledge, clinical skills and relations with patients by providing care in a cross-cultural environment in which resources are limit. Medical Volunteers or Medical volunteers interested in the program will work closely with the local staff in delivery of services.
