NTNU Has A Pretty Swell Program

Review
I spent 6 months at NTNU's Mandarin Training Center and this is my overall impression:
Positives:
- Some really great teachers.
- Central, easy location.
- Multicultural classes with students from all over the world. Class sizes are kept small.
- Plenty of great resources for students who want to immerse themselves in the language.
- Lots of excursions and cultural classes are offered as well; great way to meet other students.
- Priced well.
Negatives:
- NTNU doesn't help you find housing or take care of odds and ends when you arrive in Taipei. You're on your own.
- Some teachers are awful. You might have to switch classes, which isn't a huge deal and can easily be done.
- I found the women in the administrative office to be complete beasts.
- Very involved, but it has to be. I wouldn't sign up unless you have a lot of time to devote to class, homework, and labs. (several hours per day, you're basically a full time student).
