Summer 2015 Experience

I spent the summer after my Sophomore year of college with Live Beyond in Haiti. It was one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my life. As a 19 year old I was in charge of a team of Haitian construction workers as well as the agricultural staff. I had to manage and complete assignments with both teams. It took a great deal of effort and commitment, but I managed to complete the majority of the tasks assigned to me.

Over the course of the program I learned how to
Delegate: Resources and assignments.
Prioritize tasks
Improvise and implement strategies
And most importantly how to lead regardless of age or experience.
