I have had an amazing experience in Malta, learning from some of the best professors in my field of study (archaeology) and getting to explore the islands.
I do definitely advise prospective students to be prepared for a lot of chaos and limited communication with administration and staff, however. While I can't vouch for other programmes of study, for me the lack of organisation was minimal in what is overall a really great archaeology department, and it it was worth it.
I have met some amazing friends here and I would definitely recommend staying at the University Residence as, although it isn't your average halls, it is a great social space to hang out and meet new people (also there's a pool). Just be warned: when it comes to exam season it is very hard to stay focused and actually get work done!

Would you recommend this program?
Yes, I would
