A truly tangible way to connect with the Nepalese

I have worked closely with Edge of Seven over the past 8 months helping to design a secondary school addition in rural Nepal. With all of the intimate knowledge they bring of the people, culture, and community needs I feel less like I'm designing in the dark for a stranger and more like I'm personally designing for a friend in need. The project is currently being built by their own staff's capable hands, as well as the local residents, and even volunteer friends of mine from here in the US. I also appreciate how easy Edge of 7 makes it for people who want to go and participate. I only wish I could've gone myself - hopefully one day!!
