3 months ago I embarked on my adventure to Hong Kong. Of course, looking back there are a few things I would have done differently. Booking my flight earlier to save some money, for example. Or applying earlier. Or applying with a friend to get a discount. But these are just little things, because overall, I had a fantastic time.
Thanks to my internship in Journalism & Marketing, I have learned a lot about Hong Kong, the culture, the people, the problems, and myself. Journalism is the getaway to understanding a country’s soul. I realised that during my time in Hong Kong and it helped me commit myself to one future goal: become a freelance journalist. In Hong Kong, I made a lot of valuable business contacts and gained a lot of new skills. I am certain they will help me as I try to realise my dreams. Wish me luck hahah!
