Essential Life Skills and a New Home

I loved my time at HDC! I never thought I would learn so many practical skills and feel confident hiking through canyons, doing carpentry, and having direct conversations with friends. It was thanks to the supportive staff that helped me push my comfort zone and see what I am capable of. This program has opened my eyes to how many ways there are to exist in the world and I feel even more ready to find my own path. I have deep bonds with the land and community here and I know I will return to this new home.
