Excellent opportunity to be a community volunteer through Voluns

The staff at Voluns are really helpful and committed to helping all volunteers have a good experience. I worked as a Community & Development volunteer in 2013. The Voluns staff made several important accommodations and adjustments for myself and other volunteers due to personal preferences and requests. I completed this program as part of a field experience component for my Master's degree - and it was perfect for giving me relevant professional experience at a great cost. I also got to be relatively independent during the program, but there were always small social gatherings and opportunities to connect with other volunteers on other projects.
