Travel Grad Australia

Helloooo from sunny Australia, February 7th 2022! My name is Alex. I’ve come to Australia through TravelGrad and can honestly say that so far, it has been the best experience of my life! It has been so much less worrying that I thought it would be, everything has fallen into place, likely due to the amount of help and guidance we’ve been given from TravelGrad. Andrew and the team at TravelGrad squashed all my fears pre-departure due to the sheer amount of guidance and knowledge they have about the country. The arrival was flawless, so smooth, a transfer from the airport to the hostel, where we had a week long induction with tours and activities. Most importantly we were in a big group of 20-30 people, which really is the foundation for the best year ahead! The week of activities was very varied, and included chilled parts, beach walks, as well as nights out in bars and clubs, and an overnight coach ride 2 hours out of Sydney to do sand boarding and hiking. It was the most varied and incredible week of my life! As well as all the social stuff, we also had our bank accounts, sim cards and tax numbers set up in order to start working! Everything was basically put in place for me to start enjoying my year of work and travel ahead. The team also advised on the best routes to take to move around the country, as well as long term accommodation advice etc. I could not recommend this opportunity anymore. I am blown away by how good this whole experience is, and by how much Im enjoying it. You have incredible weather, wildlife, food, surfing, City vibes, life by the beach, rainforests, coastal road trips - this place literally has everything!
