Amazing teaching and cultural experience in Colombia

The programme is too good to be true! The teaching qualification, bed and board, and flight payments eliminate worries about travel, and allow you to fully immerse yourself in the culture and surroundings in the host country.

Teaching in local schools allowed me to learn so much about the local culture from the students and teachers. I felt like I became part of the community of Colombia, and the language lessons that we received as part of the experience helped to contribute to this.

The experience has overall helped me to appreciate the importance of understanding global cultures in order to broaden your personal perspective in life. It has also showed me that teaching doesn’t have to be as boring as when you were a child!
