Scotland was an amazing experience! Trying new things and being in a new culture was great and I would recommend everyone go abroad. I grew and changed in so many ways during my time in Scotland and I will take that experience with me throughout my life. The staff at SRUC Elmwood where I studied were extremely professional and helpful. They did their best to make sure we had what we needed and were enjoying our stay at all times. If you are a golf fanatic this is the trip for you. Crossing the Swilcan bridge on 18 is one of the best feeling in golf!

I feel that communication was somewhat challenging on this trip. The large time difference contributes to that and I do not think that Adelante is completely to blame as some of us in Scotland also had some issues. That being said I was surprised to suddenly be dragged into something that I had talked to no one about and did not know the details of. I received multiple emails suddenly one evening threatening legal trouble and expulsion and telling me I had to apologize and seemingly take ownership of something I had no part of. I understand this was a challenging situation for all involved but this added some stress to my stay here and left me sort of jaded.
