Great experience that poured fuel to the flame of my curiosity in herbal medicine

I was interested in herbal medicine and wanted to travel, so I did Linguistic Horizons “Plant-based medicine and nutrition” course in Peru, and it was a great experience that built my interest in this topic and inspired me greatly. The town we stayed in was beautiful, felt safe, and felt like real small town Peru, and the amount and variety of local Peruvian professionals that we learned from and got connected with was eye-opening and awesome, from a medicine woman taking us on a plant walk, to a local cooking class, to spending a day in an Andean medicine clinic. Those 2 weeks felt so much longer because of everything we did and everyone we met. Great experience that I will always be grateful for.
