10/10 experience

My experience volunteering with Honduras Child Alliance has been everything I hoped it would be and more. The work is incredibly fulfilling, educational, and expansive. I have gained a widened perspective of the world by working with a culture so different from mine all while having a really great time. The program is organized and community focused and the workload is fair. It is also really fun to work with other volunteers from all over the world. Additionally, my Spanish has improved so much! I was a bit nervous at first about things like safety and cost of living and I have been so pleasantly surprised at how accessible it is in both of these areas. I am so glad I made the decision to volunteer my time at HCA and be a part of something bigger than myself. This is an experience I will always remember.
