Ideal Experience

My internship at the National Zoo and Aquarium in Canberra Australia was the best experience of my life. I was able to help all the zookeepers in their day to day activity and I was able to do so many things. I was able to prepare food and create enrichment for all of the animals in the zoo. I would do it again in an instant, doing an internship (as opposed to study abroad) was absolutely better.
In addition, the bridging cultures program was probably the best way to be welcomed to Australia and we were able to do so many things, like snorkel in the Great Barrier Reef, hold a koala, go four-wheeling through the rainforest, meet Australian aboriginals and learn about their culture. It was a great opportunity and I am so pleased I was able to do it.
