Getting out of my comfort zone.

As someone not very outgoing and very introverted studying abroad seemed like something I never would be able to do. With the help of API, I was able to easily make friends, have access to activities I might not have known how to get to and make things less stressful for me. Getting to go to orientation and have a room with people almost in the exact same boat made it easy to get to know people and have those friends for my entire time there. Although there were other opportunities in school and with KUBA Buddies, I'm very introverted so having others in API was amazing for me. The excursions and opportunities to see those people and go do fun things were so great for me. I didn't have to stress about the planning and how to get places since API was taking care of it. This made it so much more fun and memorable for me!
