A Life-Changing Experience in Athens!

From the moment I landed in Athens, I was blown away by the mix of modern life and ancient history. The Philotimo Dental Program gave me the chance to shadow oral surgeries, including wisdom tooth extractions and dental implants! The 1:1 and 1:2 student-to-doctor ratio made it so much easier to learn. The dentists were incredibly patient and spoke excellent English, which helped me understand every step of the procedures.

One of my favorite experiences was our city tour to the Acropolis—seeing the Parthenon in real life was surreal. We also took the metro everywhere, and it was surprisingly easy to use (except for that one time we got off at the wrong stop
