Finally Got Trained Properly Without Spending a Fortune

I went with SimpleTEFL because I needed real teaching credentials without dropping thousands of dollars or spending months in a classroom.

I haven't taught professionally yet, but I wanted to gain solid knowledge before stepping into a classroom. I knew if I wanted to make a career out of this, I couldn't just wing it from day one. Before signing up, I wasn't sure an online course would teach me much. I thought it might just be boring videos and quizzes. But it turned out to be really practical. It taught me how to plan lessons that actually make sense, manage classrooms where students are at different levels, and explain grammar without confusing everyone.

The biggest takeaway was learning to plan around what I want students to learn, rather than just throwing activities together and hoping for the best. Now I feel way more prepared to start teaching. I'm using the certificate to apply for jobs abroad, and honestly, just having a real foundation instead of going in blind is huge.

Way better than figuring it all out through trial and error with actual students.
